Someone asked about the procedure and timeframes in migrating their FTTC product from one ISP to another, and having just done precisely that, I thought relating my experience might have helped in some way. Not using this forum that much but having been helped immensely previously when I have done so, it struck me as the right thing to do.
I wasn't really expecting much more involvement than that.
If I'd known I'd be exposing myself to the sort of challenging intellect that hangs around broadband forums at almost midnight pouncing on the sort of mistake that distinguishes "this morning" from "that morning", then I might have thought twice about it, but hey ho.

I'm happy to see that so far your migration has gone ok, it was just my luck to have something go wrong. PlusNet submit the phone move order after the BB has moved, so you'll probably be notified of the date later today or tomorrow.
My FTTC is now with PlusNet and my phone move is scheduled for the 29th July and so far seems to be on track.
