That E Mail is only for line rental increase, not broadband. Meaning u can leave line rental but not broadband. But, how will broadband will work if u did cancel line rental! lol

Mine won't increase cos line rental saver is expired next year July 2015. So, any line rental price increase will not affect me.

So if I was to ring up and say no I don't agree etc it means I can terminate my phone line? Or just change providers? if it's the former what happens to the internet based on the fact it can't run without a phone line.

I'm curious as I got asked this yesterday and didn't know for sure.

From what I heard on the radio earlier, no one will be charged for cancelling their broadband, I suppose more info on this will emerge in the coming week.

?
You've lost me there.

What has a BT price rise got to do with Plusnet prices, apart from adslmax's stuff that they might go up some time in 2015? So might/will BT's. He's just having one of his wild rants.

You certainly won't get any info about Plusnet's next price rise when the imminent one hasn't even happened yet smile.

PN's increase in prices for the rest of 2014 happens next month, looks like they've beaten BT to it tongue

It's been reported in the media that Ofcom's view is if people don't like the BT-retail price increases they can vote with their feet as there are other suppliers in the telco market.

I've just been given a MAC, due to the line rental increases. No termination charges. Will loose about a month of my LRS though.

Because with this being the Plusnet forum and the debate supposedly about what Plusnet prices might do, and there is a thread in the BT one about their price rises, I assumed your 4 September was because the current Plusnet offer ends then.

Edit - except it ends 2 Sept blush.
