1) PlusNet does not block prefix number calls (such as 18185, 18866)?
We do not block the use of these numbers ... good
2) PlusNet does not make any charge for making such calls?
As these are indirect dialing numbers you may be charged for the use of these numbers. question below, also I've asked them what the cost is and where it is spelt out
3) This is the same for monthly line rental and for line rental saver?
The line rental saver is £155.88 per year which works out at £12.99 per month rather than £15.95 per month. Doesn't cover the effect of losing evening and weekend with LRS, and how that might impact 18185 etc, so I've asked for more detail there.
Their answers are still incomplete, so I've asked for more clarification, but meanwhile asking for people's real experience here. I've seen some posts from a time ago, but they were not completely conclusive and may be out of date.
I thought there is a difference between indirect dialling numbers like Simply Dial 0844 200 8585 which go through the operator's (Plusnet's) system and indirect access numbers (such as 18185) which effectively bypass that system.
