Sending mail problem

If you believe this is in error please login to your portal or contact your ISP support team.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 552, Error Number: 0x800CCC6D.

I received this error message when replying to an incoming mail. Creating a new mail message with the same recipient sends OK.

The incoming mail has "SPAM" inserted in the subject field. No idea where this is being added.

Click on Manage my mail
Click on Spam

The reason you couldn't reply is that is seen as spam - I assume that when replying you retained the original message

That's correct. I've changed my email settings. Not sure if it will work as the account I use to send isn't a PN account. Thanks for your reply.

The check isn't related to the account you use but to the server you are sending it via which I assume in this case is relay.plus.net

Thanks for that. Yes I'm using relay.plus.net. Does that suggest that the receiving server is rejecting the message because of relay.plus.net?

Using a different smtp server doesn't have any problems sending to the same receiving server/recipient.

No it is the Plusnet server which is rejecting it

Is there some way of marking it "non spam" so relay.plus.net will send the messages to this particular recipient?

Not as far as I am aware except by editing the original post and possible removing the Spam part in the title

Why continue using the Plusnet relay?
