Broadband speed

I have been with Freenetname for many years and have had no complaints with the
service but since December 2014 my broadband speed has become very slow.
My speediest has given me 0.36 Mbps download and .092 upload, something is decidedly wrong
with the connection, it has been reset via a ticket, but this has not made any difference.
I would appreciate if one of you guys can find out what is wrong and hopefully fix it,
I assume this is the correct place to post as Freenetname, Madasafish - Plusnet are all
related?

Sorry but I don't know your account username so I haven't been able to check the line or go through any tests.

I see that you've said the line has been reset, do you know if this was an SNR reset?

If you need any further information please let me know.
Just done another speed test which gave me 413kbps download
and 956kbps upload I am sure I use to have 7000kbps before so
I feel something is wrong?

Hi John,

I've had a look at your account and can't see anything that would be causing your speeds to drop this low. Everything seems set fine from our side and your line is connected at 7645 through to the exchange.

Are you connecting via a wired or wireless connection?

I'd suggest going through the faults troubleshooter from my previous response so we can get this looked into.

Set me thinking regarding my old BT Voyager 2110 you provided some years
ago that this might be the problem, got out a Thomson router, which you provided and
set that up and sure enough I am back to a far, more reasonable speed
- Download 6102 Kbps and Upload 955 Kbps.
