Yes, they do smile. But the OP was limited to 40Mbps at initial testing, so something odd has happened.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 53.4 (interleaved)/15.6Mbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

I also understood that the 40/20 service was provisioned as 80/20 and limited by PN. Presumably this is simply a marketing exercise as the marginal cost of providing 80/20 rather than 40/20 must be negligible.

Ought to add that by asking nicely I got the same deal on 40/20 fibre as a new customer. £3.75/month for 6 months and £50 cashback. I rather expected the 6 month price reduction but when they said I was also getting the £50 my ghast was almost flabbered. I've been with PN broadband since 2002. This was when 512kb/s was about £20/month and we thought it marvellous and good value. It was certainly cheaper than the Home Highway I had before that because I only had to pay for 1 line. I'll think of it as loyalty being suitably rewarded.

Now I'm getting a (very) good service I don't want to ask too many questionssmile
