Routing Issues?

Bit late for a response tonight, however anyone also seeing routing issues? Probs with BBC and The Guardian, also Google and ebay. Started about 1am ish, gateway changes and/or router reboot making no difference.

Thanks. I agree with the poster about the lack of night-time support. This could probably be resolved quickly and easily.

Where is Plusnet support as the DNS server was down

I can't believe people solely using flaky ISP DNS I all the years i have had an internet connection i have always found issues with ISP's DNS and E-mail servers regardless of who the isp was/is

Yes having lots of problems myself right now.

Managed to get some sites working by using direct modem connection but not playing ball through my Billion router at all. I don't think it's just a DNS issue either as I wasn't even using Plusnet DNS servers. Connecting through Google DNS server and still cannot connect to some sites inc BBC

Problems here too this morning, essentially nothing connecting on the web though able to ping the DNS servers. My TPLINK modem/router says connected with no problems. . I was on Plusnet's DNS,automatically chosen by the modem/router but have now switched to Google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Some sites now work but certainly not all.

Don't know if there's a wider network issue because my phone (on 3 network) was barely able to access the net either. Seems a bit better now.

I believe I'm having similar DNS/Routing issues from PlusNet at the moment because I have problems in accessing certain sites using Firefox, such as assessing Amazon.co.uk;

"Firefox can't find the server at www.amazon.co.uk"

while assessing other sites such as MSN, Thinkbroadband.com etc are O.K

It appeared to affect me this Thursday morning after I have had the MS updates for my Windows 7,

When will Plusnet, if that is the rooting cause, to fix all these????

Yep, having some very odd but selective problems.

Cannot access the BBC, because, supposedly, I'm not connected to the internet - yet can post here alright.

Also can access Plusnet's main site, yet peculiarly, not the Help & Support section within it, to find out what's going on.
