All the posters replying to you are saying is that your example was invalid. The case you cite was the OP's fault.

The only mitigating factor is that the pre-authorisation should not have taken place until the OP had committed to the order. It shouldn't have been possible to pass the pre-authorisation then fail to continue.

Exactly, a glitch in Plusnet's billing system. Now go and look at the relevant boards on Plusnet's Forum and come back here and try telling me there are NO glitches in their billing system.
It strikes me you are just being argumentative for the sake of just having a go at me.

I would have thought more people would be complaining if there was a BIG issue with the payment system.
