On sites like this it is most often that a image somewhere on the site was reported to IWF and thus on a block list and all site requests are then via a filter, and for bigger sites this can cause the side effect of breaking a site.

But would that have the effect of breaking it for me only as others on PlusNet can access it ?Well Lo and Behold , it's actually working now ..go figure ..?

It's working now for some reason ...

Depending on how the filtering is implemented e.g. maybe several boxes used then its not impossible

Plusnet are in process of migrating to a new dedicated "Network" away from the BT shared one, on Plusnet's own forums there are complaints about missing packets and DNS issues which seem related to new network - so it may be only some of Plusnet can't access it

The website is back up now. It was so easy to circumvent I wonder why they even bother to block it , if that is what it was..............
