I know this was not for me but for someone else but I will also thank you for your suggestions and have a look at them.
They weren't for you smile. I know about your uno problem.

My reply was to zyborg in relation to his friend. A completely different thing.

Also uno remain highly regarded by many using them, even professor973 wrt when he was with them.

The fact the two of you are not offered service is strange, but not relevant for people who are, which is apparently the majority.

So i am looking at a deal now for 18 months £28 a month so £17,99 for phone and £10.01 for 80/20 - are you saying this will be going up in September?

According to the screenshot it should stay the same for 18 months, but it might go up by the £2.50 a month increase in the base price (if this information is correct, which we have no evidence of at the moment) - it depends on the small print.

Plusnet are to follow BT of broadband price rise from April 2017. 5-6% increase in broadband.
Oh noes. It'll be going up to nearly £24pcm. Shocking smile

Yes I know they were not for me, and I said that. I was just saying thanks. A waste of time it seems.

Thanks. I've decided it's not worth the hassle to get a price rise in September. And also like mentioned above, their shocking customer service.

I'm leaning more now towards ditching the BT line altogether and using TalkTalk Business + 4G tethering if I need it.

Don't forget about providers such as Aquiss, uno and vivaciti. Their allowance packages (with unlimited overnight and weekend) may be fine. Note that uno may be ex Vat so would need that adding.

We will have a look at that, going there today, they have a problem with their router, so i need to sort that out, maybe BT got wind of them thinking of moving smile

The man is only going on what's happened in the past, and what we know will happen in the future. Yes he might well have got the %'s wrong but Plusnet not having a price rise in 2017 seems very very unlikely considering BT, SKY,Virgin and TalkTalk are all lining up ready.\

All I know so far is that Sky is 1st march and BT is 2nd April. Plusnet are usually September I think.
