These days we normally regard a byte as 8 bits, but this hasn't always been the case and probably still isn't for some applications.
Or course with some comms mediums you have additional bits that wrap the data - I'm thinking RS232 start and stop bits, but don't go into HDLC...

What equipment do they use to provide the bonded service?
Using our FB2700 as the tail end equipment (in your premises) speeds of up to 200Mb downlink, 50Mb uplink by using 3 FTTC connections.
and who makes that?

I go on the 1000GB from http://aa.net.uk/broadband-home1.html
Maybe this one even better. Bonded FTTC
https://www.watchfront.co.uk/broadband-solutions/bon...
Yes but that's a crazy cost - 3 FTTC lines would be £135 and would do 210/60 based on actual throughput at this location. I am pretty sure my TP link load balancer will do the job and more than 350mbps max unlike the firebrick.
But that's a good offer

You may closed this thread if no ones gonna to believe me. Until September come up, the price will be the same what I am saying now. Roll on until September cos I will be right afterall.
Can we just moderate these types of totally inaccurate, unfounded but hinting at inside knowledge, types of posts in future, which just spread uncertainty and doubt? This poster has been posting nonsense on more than this board.
