I sent a PM to a PN employee with regard to BT and the pro-rata refund of Line Rental Saver to ask if PN will follow suit due to their forthcoming June price increases and he has it on good word that PN will, doesn't know the exact details.

As you say whether front line Customer Support staff are aware of this yet is another matter, I might get in touch sometime over the next few days to see if they do.

My email notification of the June price increase arrived this afternoon, no increase in BB for me just the LR / LRS.

Update: PN LRS pro-rata refund

Got a reply to a ticket in the record time for me of just under two and a half hours, that's some improvement shocked

Being connected to a small rural market 1 A exchange (20CN) I guess I will stay with PN for the time being regarding BB but won't buy the LRS again when the time comes.

I see a new (to me at least) euphemism. "Our price refresh". Orwell Newspeak at its best.

In reply to a post by zyborg47:
for nothing extra.

I think most ISPs are using the increases to mostly pay for the increases in usage.

Because most ISPs have fallen into the "unlimited" package by default, they have little other way of funding the gradual increase in actual usage, and paying the consequent increasing bills from BT.

If your usage is increasing at 25% or more, then you are getting something extra. If your usage is increasing less than this, then you are subsidising those whose usage is increasing faster.
