Yes I have a dial tone and have also done a test by calling some number plus net said to do.

Line seems fine just the broadband speed.

I was told I should be getting anything upto 11mb

Also someone ask what exchange I'm connected too. I have no idea but my postcode is M26 3UW

Radcliffe and cabinet has no plans for VDSL2 I can spot but you seem to have Virgin Media cable as an option, or LLU ADSL2+ which if Plusnet cannot fix line issue might be worth a shot i.e. Sky and TalkTalk

Things have improved just a little today. Only getting 2.5mb but it's a little improvement.

Once my profile drops to 3DB will it get me upto 9-10mb?

I tried the plusnet router which was not very good.

I'm now using a BT Hub 6

G992.5 is ADSL2+

G992-5 is ADSL+

I have ADSL2+

G993-2 is VDSL2

Your SNR up and down would be correct for 9Mb down and 1Mb up sync.
To check that you do not have an internal interference.
Can you switch off all elecrical sockets, except broadband router and reboot.
Check speed, if still the same. The problem is probably external wiring or exchange card.
if there is a difference gradually switch on sockets to find.
Assume you have changed filter.

UPDATE! openreach engineer been out today and found a spilt cable in the exchange.

All fixed and getting faster speed then expected

Also have request for plusnet to remove the cap off my upload speed.
