LCP Connection Error?

Well I finally got activated yesterday after 4 months of trying and speeds are good very good infact. But when I disconnect when DSL line drops for around 30 seconds then when its back it takes a long time for the router to reconnect (around 2-3mins). It comes of with the message:

LCP is allowed to come up

Does anyone else get this message after a disconnect? I'm using the Netgear router, I have tried my Speedtouch but have a similar problem (but worse) with it saying Idle connection timeout and often wont reconnect without me putting the Netgear router in for a while first. Is this something to do with me or with SKy/my line or the routers themselves?

I've tried a few things on the Speedtouch, factory resets etc with no luck but I'm unsure what to do on the Netgear :P. I would like to use my Speedtouch as it give me an extra meg when it has a connection.

This is just getting worse now, I cant hold a connection for 10mins alot of the time. Then I get disconnected and have to wait 10mins to connect again. I'm having more luck with my speedtouch at keeping the connection but that is having worse problems when resync coming up with different errors:

- Disconnection due to Idle Timeout
- Secondary DNS cannot be set

With that it won't connect. Going to call sky tomorrow and see what they say about all this mess.
