Help Needed

Hi, i have just signed up to sky broadband, getting the full 3 package talk, surf and tv just wondering if any one has this and do you still have to pay bt line rental???

yes you will have to pay the bt line rental
you can pay it to bt yourself,or pay it it all through sky

It depends if you decided to transfer your line to Sky. The packages advertised (�26) do not include line rental, whereas I will be paying �31 for all 3 inclusive of line rental but no premium channells and mid BB

Hi, i have gone for all 3 payin �49 a month.

You can move your line rental over to Sky which will cost �10.00 per month over BT's �10.50 (paper-less)/�11.75. So you can potentially save �1.75 like we have just done and still have 1571 answer service and Caller ID free of charge. It's a no brainer.

I found that although I paid BT the line rental, they wouldn't provide free caller ID unless I made chargable phone calls, so in the end I told them to cancel that service.

The only thing I would be wary about doing the transfer to Sky (if it is LLU ing) is that should you wish to change providers after 12 months, you will have to pay BT the reconnection fee of around �100, which I think is ridiculous.

Mind you, BT's ridiculous anyway but there you go !!

Not really I went from BUlldog to BT and never had to pay the fee, it depends very much on the CS person as I also got the cost of BT vision waived

Does that include premium channel as I am gone be charged �31 - �16 sky TV, �5 Mid BB adn �10 line rental.
