Sky Mesh Set-Up

Hi All.

I currently have lots of equipment at home that is connected to my current wifi that is quite a pain to change the ssid on. I am using esp8266 arduinos and similar. All are looking for the ssid dd-wrt.

My question is regarding the way the sky q mesh works.
My Sky Broadband is being installed today.
I have the equipment below for the mesh to work.

1 x Sky Q Hub
1 x Sky Q Silver 2TB
2 x Sky Mini

All the Sky equipment have different ssid's. Should i change my Sky Q hub ssid to dd-wrt or would that stop the mesh from working.
How does my current equipment connect to the sky Q mesh if all the ssid's are different ?

I was advised by the guys installing that my BT mesh should be turned off.

But the up side was the Sky mini was connected via cable to provide a mesh network.

Which is as good or even better. Just remember to turn off eco mode.

Sorry I should�ve answered my own question earlier.
As soon as I added my SSID to the main hub, the 3x Q boxes stopped broadcasting their own ssid�s And all started to use the single ssid that I added to the Q hub.

yes, mesh will merge all the SSIDs, the data backbone is made on the 5GHz network and the user can connect on 2.4 or 5GHz from any of the SkyQ boxes - e.g. router/boosters/main sat box/2nd room sat boxes.
It effectively gives you repeaters with every bit of sky kit.
