Hi, im currently with UKOnline LLU (easynet same as SKY) and im a little worried about being locked into using skys router. Im on a long line (63dB attenuation) but with my billion 7402 i am getting a very stable 3000kbps average (i turn off when i go to bed around 1am).
Before i got my Billion 7402 i had a BT 2Wire 2700 which did the same for my line on IP Stream based products but with the Easynet DSLAM i had a very unstable 2200-1700kbps synch. I was thinking of migrating to SKY seeing as i have SKY TV and have heard that the LLU internet is basically the same as UKOnline just cheaper. I would just like to know if the sky router is anygood on preforming on long lines and if it uses the same chipset as the Easynet DSLAM (GSPN - Globespan). If not is there a way to use my current billion router with a Sky Connection?
Thanks in advance.
Greg
