I seem to have a static IP

[link to this post]

Recently I was put on the DLM program, which brought my speed down to 384k! Rang support a few times, got it back up to 1440k (I live a long way from the exchange, so not upset with the speed).

Since that time (I think - can't be 100% sure when it started happening), but my IP hasn't changed in a week or so. I've rebooted the router on occasion, and every time I get the same IP. Previously I would always get a new IP each time the router was rebooted.

Anyone else noticed this?

When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, NTL / VM support really suck!

I don't think its static as per say.

As I used to experience the same thing when I was with UK Online.

With Virgin I had a fairly-static IP - changed every year or so. But with Sky, i've had a new IP every time until after the DLM business recently. Might be luck, or some odd setting they've put me on - worth keeping an eye on.

Shame... just got a new IP after rebooting. Guess was coincidence, or some glitch in the Sky systems.

Sorry guys.
