Looking at your ping i'd guess you have interleaving switched on. Their gaming profile should switch this off (in theory) and reduce that by about 10-20ms.

Gaming profile switches off DLM capping, and reduces interleave depth/delay but does not turn off interleaving.

You have to ring sky and ask them to put you on the Gaming profile but this doesn't switch interleaving off.

Make sure max delays gets reduced i asked to be put on gaming profile which made it worse!

You mean make sure you get put onto Gaming profile?

This is a traceroute i have just done, i'm also with sky but have Gaming Profile enabled which in my case had turned interleaving off.

are those results using a Ethernet cable or wireless, the reason i ask is i would expect a lower ping than yours to the bbc if on fastpath, something that sky are known not to enable, and also as a former ukonline customer, who did enable pure fastpath my ping to the bbc was always around12-13ms and some other ukonline customers had lower than that, even with bethere it's 13ms they may have reduced the delay but that's about all they have done
