Hi I signed upto Sky broadband last September / November.
I have had a pretty normal connection but I'm wondering if I can get anymore speed? Also are my speeds about right?
I'm not sure if I'm getting a good connection or not as I'm paying for 20 meg. Downloads seem ok. It doesn't seem THAT fast though.
Here are my router stats

ok, firstly is your voice (ptsn) side of your connection with sky or bt? i ask this because firstly it will most likely determine the type of kit that you are connected to at the exchange,(relivance being the chipset vendor of the said kit/dslam ect) and matching it with router chipset(important factor)
2, with a router reported attenuation (as the real value can & does frequently differ) of 29db, with interleave on, aprrox downstream of between 15-17mb @ current target snrm( on Easynet dslam 's& using a matched conexant chipped router) as for the newer sky kit theoretically it should perform in a similar way i believe that they are broadcom based , However there are also other factors to consider which may or may not affect your connection,
my experience connected to one of easynet's dslams (
not with sky,) using a conexant chipped router with a (custom )line profile target snrm of 4db and fastpath with a similar attenuation to yours router reported 32db actual recorded attenuation was 28db my sync rate was 19.5mbits down and 1,2mbits up the upstream was also capped due to so called technical limitations
