Anytime +

Anyone managed to get Sky anytime+ using a non SKY adsl service?

As far as I am aware, Anytime+ can only be accessed via Sky's LLU broadband service.

It's probably not possible because Sky will only activate it on their systems if you have an active Sky LLU connection. I'm not sure if this is the only thing stopping it working, or whether they actually limit the service to the Sky i.p range.

The only way to know that would be for someone with a Sky LLU connection and another phone line with a different ISP to activate anytime+ and see if it works on the other phone line. Or if someone who already has anytime+ working to take their box to a friends who uses another ISP.

This is correct my sky adsl is due to go live on Tuesday but its classed as active on my account so allowed me to activate sky anytime plus and sky player but it refuses to work with my current cable connection just errors and says cannot connect to sky network or along those lines.

Ah, so sky have restricted the anytime+ service to only use their network..

Yea i read about a hour ago in the sky forums that it only works on an exchange that has got sky's SVBN network that's y it don't work on sky connect that uses bt's hardware that also emplanes why it doesn't work on my cable connection even though to them ive got sky broadband on my account lol
