Is it normal for Sky to take over 2 weeks to come and install a new line, is there a way to get one installed quicker?.

BT Openreach do the actual installation work so the delay is most likely down to them and the state of their workload in your area.

The 2 week delay is an Ofcom requirement to prevent slamming - i.e. Tiscally stealing your line.
