this is what im getting while my connection is running in the test socket

Connection Speed 10235 kbps 797 kbps
Line Attenuation 36 db 19 db
Noise Margin 4 db 6 db

oh and my connection is sky LLU

Towards the low end of what is to be expected, but not a disaster

anway to improve it fibre isnt due out my exchange until june. well thats wat says at the mo but will know doubt change.

Check that Sky has not got your speed capped on its DLM

Check that all other phone sockets DO NOT work when using the test socket.

i know the one up stairs dont work when plugged in test. how do i find if im on DLM

All Sky LLU uses Dynamic Line Management, which sometimes does cap the speed, so a case of phoning support

It only caps you to what it believes is the most stable speed, so uncapping may make the service less stable

Your connection is being limited by noise on the line. You'll have to reduce the noise for the sync to go higher.
