Connect to LLU ?

Hi all,

My mate's exchange has today changed on SamKnows to show Sky LLU is available. (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/THHW)

Anyone know how Sky handle transfers from Connect? Is it automatic? Nothing showing on Sky.com yet, just says "you have Connect".

Are customers forced to take phone line rental as if they were signing up now?

Appreciate any info.

If it�s like TT and Bt with their products, they like to offer it to new customers in the first instance, though he could contact them and renegotiate contract to get the LLU, or they can wait... I believe they will have to take the phone rental as from September last year. (2011)

Yeah. I'm aware of what happens with the other ISPs, but Sky are losing money for all Connect users.

It will be interesting to see if he's asked to go on to Sky Talk (currently not used).
