Sky fibre

Just had the fibre broadband installed this morning sky said on there website and also when a rang to order this, that i would get 40meg down and 2mb up but at the moment iam get 28464 down and 1.7 up this is what it say in router settings will this change after a few days .

hi there i got sky fiber put in on the 8/5/12 and it is 39998kbps down and 1999kbps up and still going yassss

So it dont look like i'll get anywhere near 40meg then. Are you far from the cabinet {the green box }at side of the road ?

yes it is just over the road i can see the green box out of my window /the main thing is why i got it is for the speed and it is unlimited not like others /also it is 3 and half times faster i would be happy with your speed/ps the speed as of my other post is of my router stats a sagemcom f@st2504n

By router, do you mean the Sky sagem router?

Yes MrSaffron its the sagemcom router i have switched router off and its now showing 39996kbps so that will do
