MER on ADSL2+

My connection switched back from MER to PPPoA several months ago.

Out of interest, is there anyone on Sky ADSL2+ who is still connected with MER?

When using the Sky Hub my connection shows MER but when using my Billion 7800n its PPPOA

Yeah, I found that when I had MER available could still connect with PPPoA. Since the Sky Hub switched back to PPPoA, MER no longer connects on other routers. Interesting that some exchanges still have MER available on ADSL2+.

Still on ADSL2+ & MER here.

I wonder if this is equipment related as I was on PPPoA until I got the Sky Hub (I was part of the trial group) and when I switched to the that it went to MER.

I would switch back to the old Sagem to test but I've got everything running smoothly and, frankly, the Sagem is a (bigger) pile of the brown stuff.

Good question. I can't remember exactly when MER was disabled on my line, but I'm fairly sure it was before I plugged in a Sky Hub. My other router is a Sky D-Link DSL-2640S.

My mate in Fleet, Hants, is on MER as of last Sat using a Sky Sagem F@ST2504.

OT: I remember you asking about fibre before you moved to Sandy, just to let you know Sky Fibre is now available here smile
