Should this be happening ?

Just got back from 2 weeks holiday, while catching up on bits I noticed that downloads were going a bit quicker than normal, had a look at the router and....... :-

Line Attenuation 7.5 dB 6.3 dB
Noise Margin 5.2 dB 9.1 dB

Should I be able to get this ? I thought the cap was 22 Meg ?

With a line attenuation that low, you must practically live in the exchange!

ADSL 2 + a sync of 24mbps should be possible for those who have a very short line, your sync looks to be capped at 23999kbps though, The upload could be higher, but that too is probably capped at that speed if they offered 1.3-1.4 mbps you would get it ,

24Mbps is the theoretic top end.

ADSL Max is 8Mbps
ADSL2 is 12Mbps
ADSL2+ is 24Mbps (ie double ADSL2)

Very nice it would be good to get a BE service on that kinda of line....o wait...
