Vectoring or G.Fast

Any more word of the vectoring/G.Fast trails to enable faster speeds on FTTC lines?

Needs Openreach to do the trials and then allow providers to join. In short not much happening as the effort is concentrated on getting FTTC/P commercial roll-out complete and then the BDUK projects

G.Fast hasn't really even been field tested yet, it has a while to go before it's ready for show time and, regardless, is not there to enable faster speeds on FTTC lines but is an upgrade to them.

No idea when/where it'll be field trialed to any scale. I've only seen one group mention it and I know they have influential ears within BT so it wouldn't surprise if it were an educated rumour. Given the preferential treatment handed to that area in the past as far as trials and commercial, or given costs and premises passed in some cases really not commercial, FTTP/C go that may confuse but BT do it seems work in mysterious ways.

It's unlikely G.Fast would be rolled out - cost vs benefits.
