Sky Maintenance

It looks like the majority of Sky Broadband, Fibre and Talk customers located in Cornwall will lose connection between 12am and 6am later.

Does anyone know what maintenance this is and does it involve a hardware upgrade?

it is very rare that a 6hr outage will enact a hardware downgrade frown

I am not sure we will ever know what went on.
