So I switched to Sky Superfast and ended up with VoIP/SOGEA and today, after only 12 days of service, the worst happened - my wife called to say "no internet". I don't recall the last time I lost internet connection, it's certainly a long time ago, and rare. So I went to the Sky app from my mobile, did a line check, it reports a fault external to my premises requiring an engineer to be booked. Done. I think it said it can take up to two weeks to resolve, TWO WEEKS!!! I do hope I read that wrong.
And, as expected, the phone line is also down, but if this is a line fault then I most likely would have lost the phone line anyway.
What a weird coincidence, very annoying
