Returning SKY equipment

[link to this post]

Hi guys ,quick question.
Ive just cancelled my sky services and was wondering willl they want the old Sky tv box and router modem back.
It's the Sky plus box not the new Q model and my modem is the SR102.
I know it says on the sky site about returning the newer stuff.
But its a little vauge about the old equipment.

The old Sky boxes are owned by the customer. You can strip the hard disk out and use as backup, etc.

Not sure about the modem/router.

No. The equipment is yours. Only Sky Q kit is 'loaned' and remains the property of Sky.

Or they could just continue using it to view FTA channels

Or sell it on ebay. I believe there is still a market for them (although presumably getting smaller).

Can still remove the HD as it doesn't stop working.
