I'm on a Huawei cab and won't be going back to a ECI modem anytime soon.

I am also on a Huawei cabinet with an ECI modem.

I have now bought a Huawei from eBay, I wasn't really bothered about the ability to monitor the speed and stats (my line speed is 10 times faster than it was under MaxADSL) but the G.INP issue decided me on being able to in parallel with TB BQM. I will leave the ECI modem alone in case I need to re-use it if I get a fault on my line, I had an OR FTTC install it so really it's theirs!

Maybe if I ever reconnect it the firmware will get updated once there is a G.INP compatible version.
