Re: Fritz Box 7530 Bridge Mode

I am trying to get my 7530 working in bridge with a USG, i have an old netgear modem and WAN1 on the USG works perfectly with that, if i set incorrect 7530 pppoe credentials i cannot get the usg to establish a connection (ppoe passthrough on the 7530 is enabled), did you have to alter any other settings?

Thanks.

Is the "incorrect" a typo? Surely with incorrect settings problems are inevitable?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.

The Fritzbox is a bit funny about this, see https://en.avm.de/service/fritzbox/fritzbox-3490/kno...

Its configured correctly based on that info.
The only non standard thing is my network is 192.168.10.0 / 24 but i don't see that should make any difference.

Or...

select the System / Backup menu
Select the Factory Settings tab
Click on Load Factory Settings.

Page 207 of the manual.

Hi @tavster - just wondering how you configured your FritzBox with a local IP that you can see on the LAN? I have a similar setup (your note about putting in incorrect login details in the account info was invaluable!), but as the FritzBox isn't actually on the LAN, I can't figure out how to connect to it, other than through it's own WiFi.

Not sure if you sorted this out, but I found this thread and got mine working.

You need to go USG settings (I haveUDMP), internet - zen - switch from DCHP to PPPoE and put your Zen username and password.
