IRC is just one way to speak to our staff, no special treatment is given to customer who contact us via IRC....

I am not sure what reply you got from accounts but will ensure your account is marked as migrated away and raise the appropriate credits.

I did not fob you off, what makes you think I did?

Insisting on looking for line problems, and never accepting that it could be anything else. Even after running all the tests.
Claiming that the problem was the router, even after I reminded you that I was using the one you provided.
I could go on.

In reply to:

We were also happy to continue looking into the problems you were having but as you insisted on migrating away there is obviously nothing more we could have done.

You certainly made it sound the opposite.
edit - and as for migrating, what choice did I have? The service was unusable.

I did not claim that the router was the issue, trying a different router was just one step in trying to understand where the fault was.

Doing line tests etc was also necessary

I just wonder how good aaisp would be if they used easynet instead of BT wholesale.

Would be one hell of an isp then, quality staff on quality exchange equipment (no profiles etc.).

In addition to the routers I had alredy tried? OK, if it needs to be that many.
But I couldn't keep the line unusable for another month or two while you ran your tests and refused to hear whatever I had to say.
I note that the people who recommended AAISP to me are now saying it's not what it used to be too.

The line was never unusable, I appreciate that there were *some* intermittent disconnections and issues with the sync rates that you were getting

As I said in my email to you I am sorry that it did not work out for you.

Am happy to call and discuss further if you wish

This is of course a subjective thing, but it was unusable for me. But it doesn't matter now as I've had a rock solid connection since migrating away.

I'll reply to the rest in email as I'm sure people are starting to yawn as soon as my name appears in this thread.
