I think it is down to how much backhaul the ISP purchases. So ISP would play a key part.

Yes, the links between the ISP and TalkTalk could make a difference if there is not enough capacity, and also the links between the ISP and various parts of the internet make a difference.

The subject says it all.

During the sales process A&A sales estimated that my speeds after connecting to them would be:-

Download between 62 & 80 Mbps, and
Upload between 18 & 20 Mbps

this proved to be entirely accurate; I'm actually getting 74 Mbps down & 18.7 Mbps up.

More importantly a nice smooth graph

Early days - but I'm delighted.

NJSS

I'll be migrating my second line shortly to them. Previous experience tells me I shouldn't have put it anywhere else.

This is what I get on BT (The upload was slow today usually is max right away)

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results.html...

Having done 16TB on my primary line (which is a business dedicated circuit) I am bored of unlimited now so will use AA for this one too - as long as I can get all my Smart TV streaming down under 1TB I will be happy.

+ I upload a hell of a lot, which, incase you didn't already know, is NOT included in your allowance -w which is another bonus smile

This is what I got just now, with no other devices connected to the internet and yet the modem is synced 68mb down and 28mb up
That is impossible. I think you mean Max Attainable speeds not sync speeds.

Yeah, what can I say, wife is away and four kids to get out the door smile

Attainable 72448 / 28579
Line Rate 62847 / 20000

I only ask because I was considering a move to AAISP but if I get the same graph then it would be pointless frown

plusnet Fibre > Sky Fibre Pro > Pulse8 Fibre XL - 14ms Ping, Sync ~ 65.78/18.73Mbps - BQM

As chairman of your Village Residents' Association, will you now be recommending AAISP?

Just make sure you make it clear there is a TB limit - dont want people blaming you because they get capped if they take your reccomendation. it's happened before
