MSO on Sunday 6 Aug

re: https://aastatus.net/37182

Will anyone from AA be making an announcement about the brief but truly nasty MSO on Sunday?

That page promised an update when the badness was diagnosed, but now shows ‘Closed’.

Good for AA in immediately holding their hands up and admitting it was their fault. First time in ten years afaik that there has been a failure like this, discounting DDOS incidents which are hardly AA’s fault, so not bad at all.

We had the failure too. Complete loss of service for 50 minutes on Sunday from 7pm . On our Trouble Report List there were a number of "Test Line called (L)" entries. We also had the same trouble on August 18 at 5:47pm but on that occasion lasted only 10 minutes. But still not good for AAISP. We are on TT backhaul..
