Ping response time for Gamer

[link to this post]

HI,
Looks like i'll be joining up too, another escapee from Eclipse. Just wondering what the pings are like to (say) multiplay.co.uk? Currently on an non-interleaved line i'm getting 10-15ms. Are the pings comparable on AAisp? The other thing i'm after is fast speeds to newsgroups - not after 100's of gigs a month, just fast speed when i want it and from what i've read that wont be a problem!
Mac code requested

thanks

I've got a badly interleaved line, so my ping times are not much use to you but they are stable:

Tracing route to core1.multiplay.co.uk [85.236.96.22]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
2 30 ms 31 ms 31 ms careless.aaisp.net.uk [81.187.81.72]
3 31 ms 31 ms 31 ms needless.aaisp.net.uk [217.169.20.8]
4 33 ms 32 ms 31 ms lipex1.enta.net [193.109.219.56]

Trace complete.

Tracing route to secure.jolt.co.uk [82.133.85.65]

As for newsgroups, I can max out my connection (4.5-5Mb) from Astraweb.
