Domains & Webspace with A&A

[link to this post]

Anyone able to give feedback? Am considering A&A - their adsl access seems good, but what about the domain hosting/webspace - what bandwidth do their webservers have, what OS do they run & what features like databases, asp, frontpage, webstats etc are available? Might be interesting if anyone can also point me to existing sites hosted on A&A to check out their performance.
Overall I take it that there is little negative feedback on A&A; and that I would be dealing with an ISP that charges more than the mass market crowd but in turn gives a quality personal service?
Thanks

You might get more feedback from the newsgroup http://groups.google.com/group/uk.net.providers.aaisp/topics?lnk=srg
ignore the MI5 spam

Or asking in the IRC channel

Webspace is pretty basic but fast and reliable. See: http://aa.gg/aa/aaisp/technicalweb.html

I suspect the server is connected at 1Gb/s and I think you get 1GB disk space and a 'fair use' thing on the data transfer (I guess this means 50GB/month or so). It's not meant to be anything other than a basic service. To put that in context, it only costs 1pcm if you buy it separately - you kinda get what you pay for.

The old email service is flakey and basic. The new one seems *much* better but I think it's still in beta testing.
