Can't pay AAISP using their own bank!

[link to this post]

I've just tried paying AAISP their £0.99 invoice (incl. VAT) but Barclays won't let me...

1201 - The payment you have asked us to make is higher than the overall daily transfer limit of £50000.00 or lower than the minimum amount of £1.00. Please choose a different amount and try again. Variable payment limits are part of our continued efforts to protect customers from fraud. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I thought it was kind of ironic smile

They want to "protect" me from "fraud" by refusing to let me make a payment of less than £1 smile

So what do I do guys? Pay £1 and ask for a 1p refund? smile

I'm afraid that's the "migration fee" to move to them smile

There are plenty of providers willing to give free broadband to journalists.. We all pay for ours smile

Wait for AAISP to apply a late payment charge and... hey presto! £40.99 will go through no problem.

They won't take continuous payments on card so it seems a bit boring..

You could pay £1 and the 1p will go on your account as a credit... I'll also ask our Accounts dept. to comment to see what they think.
