20CN to 21CN Question

[link to this post]

I've just recently migrated over from Sky Connect and I must say the difference is fantastic whereas before everything other than very basic web browsing slowed to a halt at 4pm until after midnight no longer with A & A.

Anyway, after a few days this note appeared on my control panel: "WBC rate from checker 10Mb/sec, upgrade expected by 2010-10-31" I know that my exchange has had an enablement date apparently set for the 31st March 2010 (Greenock exchange). I suspect this is an estimate of the upto 24Mbps for my line (they say I should only get 4Mbs as it is I get the full speed sync) but does this mean that my exchange is due to go online with 21cn (or already activated) and if so how do I go about getting migrated over - tbh the possible speed increase doesn't really bother me as much as the increase in allowance from april smile

Thanks in advance
Gav

AFAIK the migrations happen in a batch, so AAISP will move everyone on an exchange to 21cn at once some time after it's enabled.

If the checker is giving a date that's a good indication BT are going ahead with the 21cn change on that date.
