Now that Zen (as from June 1st) have doubled their usage limit, compared to AAISP effectively halving my 20CN limit (by halving off peak unit value from 100Gb to 50Gb), the new Zen product is looking VERY tempting now.
And the good thing about Zen is that I can access ALL of my useage H24, not just after 6pm or at weekends.
I wonder with Zen doing this, if AAISP are going to re-think their 20CN product now, as the 20CN product, compared to their 21CN product, does not look good value any more.
£40/month gives me 6 units, and allowing 2Gb for peak useage/month (general surfing etc, no real downloading as such), that gives me 200Gb for the month, but the big difference is, I have to do all of that off peak. With Zen, I'd have that 200gb to use any time I wanted.
As I said, very tempting.

Do Zen allow the carry-over of unused allowance ?

Only extra usage you've paid for, they don't roll over unused allowance like AAISP does.

But if you use all of your allowance, then this becomes a moot point really.
However, being able to use all of your allowance any time of the day, any day of the week is very attractive. Being able to download that update, or watch that streamed TV show you missed on iplayer without having to wait until the clock hits 6pm would be a real bonus.

Errr ... 6 units is £29.95 per month (6 x £3 + £11.95)
For £40 you can get at least 9 units which would give around 400Gb off peak (assuming your 2Gb peak)

Just comparing like for like, the extra £10 is for the premium add-on, which I have, to give me 832k uploads, which with Zen you get as standard on the 200Gb package.

When you start to see a real difference with Zen is when you get a technical problem, because if it's of above average difficulty, then that's when you see a difference with AAISP. I was with Zen, and when I had a serious problem they weren't very communicative at all. I had to switch to AAISP to get it sorted.

To be honest, that is the ONE thing keeping me with AAISP right now. Their support really is second to none, and they won't rest until a problem is resolved.
I just wish AAISP would re-think their 50Gb/unit allowance. I appreciate that they cannot go to 100Gb/unit on a 20CN line, but even consider 75Gb/unit over a few months to see how that works out, and if it doesn't, then drop to 50gb.
I just think halving the allowance was a very drastic step, and there may have been room for an intermediate drop for a short time to see how things went. At least 20CN people could then have seen that AAISP did at least try to minimise the allowance reduction, rather than just jump in with a 50% drop.
Just my 2 pence worth.
