Mail server certificate

I migrated to AAISP yesterday and am trying to configure my Outlook outgoing mail to use SSL. When Outlook connects to the smtp server I get the following message:

"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified.

A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider."

If I click "Yes" to contiue using the server it appears to work correctly.

Any ideas how to get rid of the message (other than not using SSL...)?

yes install a signed cert on the mail server, I dont think outlook allows you to approve certificates permanently but if you keep outlook running it wont ask you again.

I forgot to mention that it is the AAISP smtp server that is causing the problem, so I can't install a valid certificate.

You need to install the Certificate Authority on your PC so that your machine knows/trusts the certificate.

Not familiar with the Outlook dialogue box but you want to be looking for who it says issued the cert (possibly CAcert?) and go to their website and download the root certificate.
