I was fully aware that the LLU operators at Hawarden have ADSL2+ but as my signature denotes, I am with Andrews & Arnold and thus use the BT plant at the exchange. Yes, I am aware of Be at Hawarden, but in any event, do LLU operators have such a thing as BRAS?
No, it always syncs at the max it can limited by the target SNR margin.

I thought AAISP use BE?

They now offer Be, when I went with A&A the service was only via BT.

Cheers!

I'd love to know what the attraction is at this exchange. It's smaller than mine on a line count basis and is in the [censored]-end of nowhere, yet has multiple LLU, rfs set for WBC and is on the FTTC roadmap.

All I have to choose from is ADSL Max and TalkTalk frown

You have to laugh at BT don't you, perfect line here and since the rejumpering to get off the hot VP my IP profile is now 2000Kbps - pmsl it's like a soap opera, what a bunch of clowns BT are

Thanks Stuart, PM just sent.

Yesterday's sync may have been a bit ambitious; last night at 21:25 synch was lost and currently my router is synched at 5568 with a SNR Margin of 12 dB. (Same loop attn of course at 36.0 dB)

That said, between Dec 2007 and July 2010, My thinkbroadband speed test graph was roughly 5.5 - presently my speed is 4.1

Noticed today workmen fitting a new BT green box. Sadly nowhere near the route that my line would follow. Hopefully FTTC will be round my way too when it is rolled out in Hawarden.

Cheers!

100gb limit on Vivaciti, not good enough for me. Can't check Xilo, as only Home/Office 20cn packages come up.

I'm a bit wary of the Opal resellers, anyone had any experience with these LLU services?
