If you need more than 100GB all the time you can look at the file-share add-on, this makes the package unlimited.

Many thanks Stuart for your PMs and for resetting the SNR Margin.

Synch has improved and hopefully the BRAS will now come up.

My original whinge was aimed at BT - otherwise I would have contacted A&A direct. But for Customer Service, I do not believe that A&A can be equalled, let alone beaten.

Thanks again.

Looking forward to ADSL2+ and maybe FTTC before too long.

Cheers!

My Broadband Speed Test

The above says it all really.

I have not seen a speed like that for some months.

Many, many thanks.

The BRAS is now 6.0

Only strange thing is that whilst the sync is now at 7232 and SNR Margin 7.0 dB the Loop Attn. has risen from 36.0 dB to 38.5 dB (as shown on DrayTek). My router is connected directly into a ADSL Nation filtered faceplate which I have not touched for at least a year.

Looking forward to ADSL2+ which may squeeze some more out of this line; which whilst not that long from the exchange, is rather old and of aluminium.

Cheers!

Clive
