At a net cost of zero wink. Except for the actual man time and equipment usage. The price they pay, including the profit margin on those, goes back into group figures in the accounts and cancel out.

The true net cost to BT is therefore only the loss of the profit the engineer would have brought in from working on other CPs� orders. Whereas the net cost to those other CPs of a Boost Job is the full amount charged. A lot more.

Odd that EE and Plusnet don�t use it, though in Plusnet�s case it could be their order system is so delicate they either daren�t incorporate it or it needs 5+ years to trial before forgetting about it. Like FTTP and IPv6 and .... smile
