"CSRF attack detected" warning on create monitor page

My dad tried to create a monitor for his home PC and got a warning on the page:
https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/...

"csrf token: CSRF attack detected" on the page itself, so couldn't continue.

Can anyone help me help him to troubleshoot this?

Can't help directly but I sometimes see the same when I try and open my BQM page. TBB runs a routine log-off which occurs after a few days of "remember me" log-in and I then have to log back in to the BQM page. This sometimes brings up the CSRF warning. When I see it I leave the tab open, open another TBB tab and log-in from there. Refreshing the monitor page then brings back my monitor.

I'm seeing this too on Firefox 76.0.1 64-bit MacOS but can login using Safari.

OK - it looks like my browser wasn't accepting cookies on www.thinkbroadband.com

I've fixed that and am biding my time due to having exceeded the maximum permitted failed login attmpts. It's 30 minutes on the naughty step for me

Hmm, I just tried it on Firefox 76.0.1 (64-bit) and I have no issues logging in at all, I am on Windows 10.

Yes, but I disable all cookies by default and hadn't whitelisted the site yet, which is why it broke. New computer, you see. An error message to the effect that cookies need to be enabled would have been somewhat more useful than the CSRF message.

You're probably more relaxed about cookies and accept the browser's standard settings. I seem to run more extension than browser; eighteen Firefox extensions in total, of which only one isn't security/privacy related (and that's Wikipedia Context Menu Search) 🏴‍☠️

Ah, I normally only allow the minimum requirements, and deny storing cookies on sites I don't fully trust.
