Vodafone Gigafast BQM - What's the consensus?

While I'm waiting for Vodafone/CityFibre to get their backsides in gear and sort out the issue with my newly provisioned connection (extremely poor throughput, router(s) constantly dropping PPPoE connections), I thought I'd share my BQM graph for comment.

The same graph happens using two different routers, one of which is a known quantity using BQM on another connection and never has any issues with BQM at all (so not ping on WAN settings related, etc).

What's more puzzling to me is the almost constant and consistent block of exactly 50% packet loss across the board. The spikes to 100% packet loss make some sense as I'm guessing thats when the PPPoE session is lost altogether. But the consistent 50% has me puzzled. Thoughts?

That's really weird! Very unusual.

I'm afraid I can't think of any possible reason at the moment, but on a light note perhaps printing them out a few times could save money on Christmas decorations?

If the dropped packet issue is also visible when doing in bound and out bound pings then suggests there is a serious fault

I'm apparently connected to a faulty line card, so the issue should be resolved soon!
