Sawtooth BQM

[link to this post]

My BQM used to show very little packet loss, then went through a period of showong 20-30%. Now it seems to have settled to a sawtooth pattern - from zero loss it will suddenly increase to 10-20%, then over the next 24 hours or so it will decrease back to zero. Then it will start again. The times of the sudden start seem random - sometimes in the middle of the night, sometimes daytime.

During this period my VDSL connection has been very stable for weeks/months on end at 36mbps with no problems experienced, but I am intrugued what could be causing the periodic losses.
