I've just upgraded from 500Mbps to 1Gbps Virgin Broadband and replaced my old TP Link Archer C5400X with a TP Link GE800 however my BQM graph has suddenly started seeing max ping spikes of around 50ms constantly, anyone any ideas?
That aside, did VM change anything on the cable side; new cable modem etc? Otherwise leave for a few days to see if it settles down. Try to avoid any router config changes.
From your profile page under the monitor in question click the “Share Live” button. Then in the Share Live Graph page, if you’ve never shared this before then click the “Generate” button. From there select the top option, “Direct Link” and the text will look like this:
A quick google on the TP Link GE800 says it's a good gaming router but you should make sure that QoS and UPNP are turned off as they can cause problems. It is normally the router that responds to the pings from BQM.
