Why no support for Dynamic IP / Dynamic DNS?

Hi All,
I wanted to monitor my new FTTC line using the TBB monitor / ping tester, but as I am on a dynamic IP address it seems I can't.

Why is this? I have DynDNS setup so that updates if my IP address changes. Using the likes of f8lure, and before that L8NC I was able to monitor no problem.

Are there any plans to change this, or can I have an explanation of why this is the case?

Id like an answer to this also.

I use no-ip.com and have ***.zapto.org witch points to my IP and is automatic updated by mu router as it has built in DYN support.

Just to add to Andrew's comment - this isn't simply a question of looking up a hostname. It's much more complicated due to how we integrate between the appliance doing the testing and the front end website.

Any update on dynamic DNS support?

Yes, there is no update busy dealing with people who run speed tests on browsers that tweak traffic so need to develop work arounds do those browsers don't break things.

Even if there is no support for dynamic DNS, would it be possible to allow the IP address to be edited and changed? This is easier for the user than creating a new monitor.
